Liverpool John Moores University Lecture Theatre - Austin Smith : Lord
Acoustic design of a large lecture theatre at LJMU City Campus. Project included design advice on room shape, acoustic finishes and sound insulation from an adjoining lecture theatre. An M&E review was also undertaken to analyse potential noise from a plant room underneath lecture theatre rake seating, along with recommendations on reducing in-duct noise to meet noise criteria. Pathfinder High School, Wigan - NPS North West
Consultation on the acoustic design of a new build high school in Orrell. Plans for the school included a large semi-outdoor atrium for concerts, assemblies, meetings etc. Design review included specifications for walls, floors and reverberation control to music recording studio, rehearsal rooms, lecture theatre, library etc. See NPS-NW website.

Design review of a new university building to house sports science and psychology departments. Noise design criteria was critical for areas such as quiet / sleep labs and
flotation rooms.

Manchester Magistrates Court Cells - GSL
Improvements to the sound insulation between interview cells and common areas at Manchester Courts. Project was undertaken as a design and install package.

Tutti Frutti Design Competition - Studio Verna
Specification of residential party walls, design competition entry for a site in Manchester city centre. Council stipulated an improved spec over normal building regulations. See Studio Verna website.
